The Fyn Kimono is worked from the top down in textured pattern and stocking stitch with a so-called European shoulder. First the upper part of the back is worked, then the upper part of the fronts down to the armholes. Then the sections are joined and the body is worked back and forth. The sleeves are worked from the top down to three-quarters length. Finally, stitches are picked up and worked in rib for the wide front bands.
