It would appear that I have a favourite stitch. Tiny bobbles have found their way into several of my designs, and I make no apologies for that. My FUYU wrap uses a crochet technique to create very neat and very small bobbles, which pop on their background of smooth stockinette. Garter stripes in two colours ebb and flow, switch once, and then switch back, creating an aesthetically pleasing blend of your chosen colours.
I have used the incredible hand dyed, sustainable, Australian merino by Knitcraft and Knittery for FUYU, which offers excellent stitch definition and a gentle halo, as well as those other lush properties of merino of which I cannot get enough. Morgan’s colours are allowed to shine on this piece, and I know that, whichever combination you choose, the end result will be a kind of magic.

The sample shown is knit using “Missy Z” as the main colour, and “Sandilocks” as the contrast colour.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 740m of your main colour, and 398m of your contrast colour. I have carefully worked my pattern so that you will only have a very small amount of your contrast colour left over. If your gauge is looser than mine, you may find you need slightly more than 398m.
If substituting yarn, I recommend choosing a yarn that has a very high wool content.

Approximate finished measurements: 37cm wide/185cm long on one edge

GAUGE
24 sts/46 rows in garter on 3.25mm needles, after blocking.
