Fussa-cardigan is worked seamlessly from top down with raglan. First neckband is knitted back and fort. Next stitches are picked up from the neckband and the cardigan is worked back and forth with raglan increases to shape the yoke. Once yoke is complete, sleeve and body are separated and sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The button band is worked simultaneously with the body. After the body is finished, the sleeves are worked top down in the round to the cuffs. It is advisable to lightly steam the cardigan and try it on from time to time to check the fit. No additional finishing is required.

Yarn

2 (3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5) hanks of WoolWomen Fluff Mohair (76 % Mohair, 15 % Merino, 9 % Nylon; 200 m/ 219 yds per 100 g) or similar yarn 200 (240, 280, 330) (370, 400, 440) g. The sample (size 2) was knitted with WoolWomen Fluff Mohair in colourway Cafe Latte and is modelled with 20 cm / 8 inches positive ease.

You can also combine different yarns, one test knitter used lace weight mohair silk held triple and used 12 skeins of mohair silk (210 m / 229.5 yds per 25 g) for size 6. I knitted size 3 with 10 cm / 4 inches longer body with Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (140 m / yds per 25 g) held triple and used 13 skeins.

If you want to make the body longer, you will need approximately 23 (25,5, 27,5, 29,5) (31,5, 33,5, 36) g more Fluff Mohair per 10 cm / 4 inches.

Fussa-takki neulotaan saumattomasti ylhäältä alas tasona. Ensin neulotaan pääntien niskan kappaleet, joista poimitaan silmukat työhön. Lisäysten jälkeen erotetaan hihat työstä ja neulotaan vartalo. Nappilista neulotaan saman aikasesti. Viimeisenä neulotaan hihat pyöröneuleena. Tällä tiheydellä varsinkin mohairlangalla neuloessa kannattaa kevyesti höyryttää neule ja sovittaa, jotta varmistat vartalon ja hihojen pituuden.
