Knitting Fever’s Furreal yarn arrived as the weather started to slip into the cool days of fall. For me, the yarn cried out to be part of something warm and sophisticated, therefore the use of the black and gray. Don’t let that stop you from making the mitts in fun colors to go with your favorite coat.

Difficulty Level: Beginning to Intermediate

Size: Women - Adult (Includes “Notes” for adjusting dimensions; Wrist = 6.5 to 7 inches circumference, 7½ in. cast-on to cast-off)

Yarn: A washable DK weight yarn, about 118 yards per 50 g (model used Simplicity by HiKoo) One 50 g skein will make two mitts.
Cuff yarn: A washable fur-like bulky yarn, about 70 yards per 100 g – (model used Furreal by Knitting Fever)

Mitt needles: DK weight yarn: 2 US6 circular needles or size to make gauge.
Cuff needles: Bulky fur-like yarn: 2 US13 circular needles.

Gauge (Mitt yarn) in stockinette stitch:
DK weight yarn: 5¾ sts per inch, 8 rows per inch.
Gauge (Cuff yarn) in stockinette stitch:
Bulky fur-like yarn: approx. 2 sts per inch.
