Furballs’ Lemon Round Stockinette Star is a 10” diameter dishcloth shaped as a five (5) arm star. Simple and yet elegant, the stockinette stitch body is surrounded by a beautiful decorative bind off that reminds me of reverse single crochet stitch. Written in one (1) colour and one (1) string, it is done from center out, so theoretically it could be as small (coaster) or as big (blanket) as you wish. The stockinette fabric is soft and “smooth” and best used when hand washing your heirloom China and glassware. It was the next step from my charity pattern, When A Star Is Born.
