Funky Family Fair Isle
Kristin Nicholas had the whole family in mind when she designed these bright, bold pullovers. The geometric pattern repeats over twenty-two stitches and eighteen rows for the adult sizes, and sixteen stitches and twelve rows for the child sizes, so that the scale of the pattern matches the size of the garment. For fashion interest, the neck on the adult version is high and worked in corrugated ribbing. For those sometimes-finicky little ones, the neck of the child’s version is kept low and finished with a few rows of seed stitch.
