You can change the gauge to make stitching looser or tighter depending on your preference for your dishcloth :-)

I like my dish cloths a little tighter so I use a hook size G or H and keep the stitching fairly tight to the hook. I make these for a friend of mine who likes looser stitching so I use an H or an I and keep the stitch a bit looser from the hook.
