Full of Holes triangle shawl
This is a pattern for a triangular scarf made from fingering weight yarn. I used Koigu, but that was before I discovered all the amazing people on Etsy who dye their own gorgeous handpainted yarn. The patterns takes approx 525 yards of fingering weight yarn. You could easily use a larger gauge yarn to get a bigger scarf, too (but estimating the yardage would be up to you).
The scarf is full of holes! But they’re supposed to be there. The pattern is really simple, just 6 rows repeated, but the result is so great. You want this scarf.
To make this pattern, you only need to know how to cast on, cast off, knit, pick up stitches, and make tassels. Then wear with aplomb! This pattern has been available in hard copy at a few yarn shops for a couple of years now, so I have received lots of feedback on wording, etc. I believe it to be mistake free and well explained (although I am completely available by email for further or different explanations -- I’m always happy to help). I also know it to be tremendously popular, since the shops keep selling out of it and reordering. Try it, I’m sure you’ll love it.
This pattern is a PDF file, which I will email to you as soon as payment is confirmed.
