I designed this cowl as a teaching piece for an introductory class on Bavarian twisted knitting. This project uses each of the most basic twists from this knitting tradition in pleasing and simple combinations. The pattern is charted and does NOT provide written, line-by-line instructions.

Pattern includes a brief tutorial on reading this style of charts, which may be unfamiliar to American knitters.

Skills needed:
Knit, purl, work in the round, work from chart

Gauge
24 sts (1 pattern repeat) = 3.5” in stitch pattern
30 rnds (2 pattern repeats) = 4” in stitch pattern
