Frøya Bank
THIS STURDY pullover, with its simple colourwork in white, black and green, was inspired by the traditional sweaters worn by Norway’s fishermen. The pattern is knitted in a Norwegian 4ply wool from Rauma, which can be hard to find in the UK, so we have suggested an alternative yarn. The armhole openings are created using steeks, and the pattern recommends reinforcing the steeks using the sewn method (hand or machine) before cutting them.
