Frozen Flower Baby Hat
This pattern is no longer available
My younger daughter took a look at the loopy flower on top of this hat and came up with the name - ‘Frozen Flower’ and it stuck. This hat is perfect for a day in the snow! Made entirely from bulky yarn (the blue and white hat) or a combination of bulky and medium worsted weight yarns (the brown and white hat), it works up especially quickly with a brim that can be folded up or down to extend the wearing time for your little one.
This pattern uses the following stitches – chains, single crochet, double crochet and slip stitches. In addition, the pattern uses front-post and back-post double crochet stitches. You should be an experienced beginner or intermediate crocheter and familiar with these stitches as well as working in rounds and changing colors.
I do not use abbreviations in my patterns, everything is spelled out, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via the email address at the end of the pattern.
(If you are just learning or need a refresher, there are also some links to video crochet tutorials on the last page.)
