Skills required
This is a Beginner to Easy project, with simple stitches and construction. You will need to be able to work basic stocking st (stockinette st) and moss st (seed st). For version 2 you will also need to work a simple cable.

Materials required
You will need:
• One pair of straight 7mm needles (US 10½ - 11)
• a cable needle
• stitch holders
• and a tapestry needle for sewing up.

Tension
• 13 sts x 18 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in st st using 7mm (US 10.5 - 11) needles.
