Using a 4 weight yarn will give you about an 8” or 9” critter but really you can use any yarn and hook for these guys as long as your stitches remain tight. I used Bernat Super Value (very similar to I Love This Yarn and Red Heart Super Saver in weight.) Pick some nice shades of earthy colours from your stash and away you go!
