The Frock Socks are a top-down sock featuring a cute ruffle and an easily memorizable charted lace pattern along the top of the sock. After working the ruffle and leg, the heel is created using a slipped-stitch heel flap with short rows and picked-up stitches along the sides. The lace pattern resumes throughout the foot and ends at the toe shaping. The toe is grafted using kitchener stitch. Available in 8 sizes, this pattern is a great stash-busting project, to gift or keep for yourself!

• 70 (115, 155, 190, 235) (285, 350, 425) yards / 64 (105, 142, 174, 215) (261, 320, 388) meters of fingering weight yarn (Samples shown used Lankava Sulo - 75% superwash wool / 25% polyamide; 100g / 437 yards / 400 meters; colorway 452 Fog)
• Size US 1.5 (2.50mm) 32” (80cm) circular needles for magic loop or double pointed needles in the same size
• Size US 1 (2.25mm) 32” (80cm) circular needles for magic loop or double pointed needles in the same size
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
36 sts & 48 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch on size US 1.5 (2.5mm) needles, after gentle blocking.

Finished Measurements: Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8) - to fit baby (toddler, child, youth 1, youth 2) (adult 1, adult 2, adult 3) - intended to be worn with 0.5” / 1.5 cm negative ease for sizes 1-4 and 1-1.25” / 2.5-4 cm negative ease for sizes 5-8.
