Fringed
Enjoy knitting easy garter stitch with soft colorful yarns in this top-down shawl. I held a strand of DK weight alpaca together with a strand of lace weight mohair for a luxuriously drapey fabric. Occasional yarn over rows form the crescent shawl shape while colorful stripes accentuate the curved lines. For an extra dramatic touch, attach fringe into each yarn over hole at the border and proceed to joyously dance and prance as your fringe blows in the wind.
Finished Measurements
90” / 229cm wingspan, 18” / 46cm from CO to BO edge without fringe, 24” / 61cm from CO to BO edge with fringe. Measurements taken after blocking.
