This cardigan vest includes 10 colors of blues and purples. The sweater uses traditional Shetland techniques in its construction including stranded colorwork and steeking.

Sizes: 40.5, 44.25 and 48 inches (103, 112.5, 122 cm.) finished chest measurement.

Although written for a woman this pattern could easily be adapted for a man by reversing the buttonholes.

The author writes, “In the body of the sweater, the patterns are all light on dark. The large patterns shade in parallel sequences, light at the outside and dark at the center, except for a zingy center round in a lighter turquoise. The wide bands and the tiniest bands are pink and red-violet patterns on turquoise backgrounds; they are adjacent to small bands where the red-violet shifts to the background.”
