Freya Jumper
A simple, light and warm jumper knitted in a combination of lace weight yarns. This A-line jumper pattern has a scooped back and cuffs finished with seed stitch borders. It’s designed to be a relaxed fit and to use only 200g of yarn.Currently in one size only, but as it’s designed to be a relaxed fit, this will work for a range of different sizes.
Finished jumper, once blocked, is approximately 60cm from shoulder to bottom of the front, with a bust measurement of 100cm and hip measurement of 120cm. The back is scooped to be 13 cm longer than the front. The sleeves are drop sleeves; they are 52 cm long, measured to the deepest part of the cuff, when knitted with the scooped cuff. The measurement from mid-back to end of cuff for the scooped cuff version is 77cm.
Note that the first 15 rows of the front & back of the jumper will be used to make a hem. This improves the way the jumper hangs.
This pattern uses virtually all the 200g of yarn, so if you want to adapt to knit a larger size, you’ll need more yarn.
