Pattern Description from Cast On, February-April 2010: “This small purse is just the right size for a wallet, keys and glasses. The pattern offers a variety of techniques to make it fun, including slip stitch, welts, I-cord, picot trim and double knit. An optional lining can be added to help keep tiny items from poking though.”

- Noro SILK GARDEN (1.76oz/50g, 108yd/100m, 45% Silk, 45% Kid Mohair, 10% Lamb’s Wool)“ 4 skeins #84 Reds (B)
- 3-4 yds smooth waste yarn (wy)
- Size 7 (4.5mm) needles, straight or circular & size 5 or 6 (3.75 or 4mm) dpns or size needed to obtain correct gauge
- Tapestry needle
- Size G-6 or H-8 (4mm or 5mm) crochet hook
- Stitch marker
- ¼ yd lining fabric of your choice
- matching color sewing thread
- Large safety pin
Gauge: In French Weave St, 31 sts & 35 rows = 4”/10 cm. To save time, take time to check gauge.
