French Scribble Scarf
This sophisticated shawl is wide enough to wear as a stole, but so light and soft it can easily be scrunched and wound several times around your neck or draped under the lapels of your favorite coat. The extra length adds to this accessory’s versatility, from a light shoulder covering in summer to a luxurious splash of warmth and color in winter.
Soft, loopy thick and thin bamboo stripes alternate with gossamer web-like stripes of sheer mohair and can be enhanced by delicate lurex strands in the mohair. Choose a mohair color that coordinates or contrasts with the bamboo.
Using one skein of Bamboo Bloom and one ball of kid silk mohair, finished scarf is approx 100” x 21”. To make it wider, more yarn is needed.
