Free Falling
This cardigan contains 5 different leaf patterns, all of them off-set to look as though they are moving in the wind or falling to the ground.
Knit from the bottom up, beginning with a 1x1 rib, and joined in the round for the colorwork patterns (charted). The front and sleeve openings are steeked. Shoulders are worked back and forth and joined with a three-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up for the double-knit collar, and for the sleeves, which are knit in the round from top to cuff.
There are two options for length. Sample is the longer length (26 inches from back neck to hem), but there is an option for a shorter version at 23 inches from back neck to hem.
The cardigan is designed to be worn with 4-10 inches of positive ease. The sample is a size 2, with 6 inches of positive ease.
