MATERIALS
Yarn
Any yarn from your stash.
Please chose a plant based yarn if you want a vegan and totally animal-friendly feather.
I used Advent Calendar yarns from Dandelion Yarns,
Dandelion Falkland Fingering, 100 % Falkland Merino (400 m / 437 yards - 100 gram).

You need approx. 5 meters / 5.47 yards of each colour.

Needles
2 DPN´s in any size that performs with your yarn.
I used DPN´s size 2,5 mm / US 1.5.

Notions
Stitch holder or a spare needle, darning needle, a metal ring or a piece of yarn for hang up.

GAUGE
9 sts x 7 rows – 2,5 x 2,5 cm / 1 x 1 inch worked in two-colour brioche.

SIZE
Size will depend on needle size and choice of yarn.
My feathers are 4 inches / 10 cm long and 1 inch / 2,5 cm wide.
