An ode to my Auntie Elsa, the OG Bride of Frankenstein, from the 1935 movie.

Everyone knows that signature white streak, even if you’re the most die-hard of Frankenstein fans! Hell, I sometimes like to think that Elsa Lanchester’s hair was always like that.

Here comes my pattern: a black beanie hat with its own asymmetric signature streak. Something a little out there, and something that doesn’t need to be 100% right to make an impact. Here’s to you beginners. A nice little introduction to Front-Post crochet stitches.

I held my yarn double as I had some 4ply looking lonely in my stash - but any DK yarn will do.
