Hedgehogs are one of Kerry Lord’s favourite animals, so it’s only right that Francis the Hedgehog has been a much loved member of the menagerie for more than ten years and was part of the original crochet book. These spiky characters weigh roughly as much as a pineapple and are covered with up to 7000 spines. This crochet pattern is one of our favourites as it sits around the same size as its real life cousin, although in this case your crochet hedgehog will be much less spiky and much more cuddly!

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Hedgehog will be approximately 27cm tall from feet to top of head spines.
