Frances Shrug
Day dreaming of colour work, contemporary designs and clever knitting lead to this wee sweetheart of a shrug. Those who come to Knit Club Wanaka with me know this took a few goes on the needle. It seems I was trying to be too clever for one design! The final result though is something I am completed besotted with.
For this gem I have used just two balls of the gorgeous Outlaw Yarn Bohemia Worsted weight yarn.
Gosh what lovely yarn this is! A wonderful blend of Possum, Alpaca and Polwarth (the merino’s cousin).
This yarn is both soft and full, but also holds a fine halo with the warm tones of possum shining in the light.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this yarn!
This pattern is the perfect 2 ball pattern and suitable for beginners – yet has a few options to challenge the knitter wanting to extend their skills. It is suitable for those comfortable with knit, purl, cast on and off, and happy following a pattern. It has options to use more advanced skills including a provisional cast on and 3-needle bind off.
Let your imagination run wild and pair up a two balls of your coveted colours!
