Fragole (strawberries) is a short jacket/bolero in a simple all over lace pattern, that reminds me the form of a strawberry – hence the name.

Fragole is worked seamlessly from the top down, starting with a provisional cast on and working back and sleeves in one single piece.
The provisional cast on is then unraveled and the fronts are worked, one at a time.

When the necessary length is reached, stitches for sleeves are closed with a three needle bind off together with the corresponding stitches from the back.

The remaining stitches for the body are worked to the end in one piece.
Starting from the wide neck opening, fronts are increased toward the center to obtain enough fabric to be tied together.

The pattern includes written and charted instructions, for the stitch pattern and for the increases in pattern.
