Foxtail
SUMMARY: Foxtail is a single-button, A-line, v-neck, high-hip length cardigan sweater. The body of the sweater is knit in one piece from the cast-on edge up to the underarms, with moderate shaping, then cast-off. The sleeves and yoke portion are knit as one piece from one cast-on sleeve edge, across the yoke and neck area, down to the other cast-off sleeve edge. These two pieces are then seamed together to make the completed sweater. The sleeves fall to mid-lower arm and do not have a cuff. The ‘hemline’, body and neck edges feature a stockinette stitch ‘ribbing’ that is picked-up and knit-on in the finishing stages.
