This circular cushion is shaped using short-rows, and can be knitted in any combination of colours to match your decor. The work begins with a provision cast on, and Kitchener stitch is used to join the first and last rows to form an invisible seam. The yarn is wrapped around the neighbouring stitch at every turn to prevent holes appearing in the finished cover.

The finished cushion is sizeable - approx 20”/51cm in diameter and would make a cosy addition to any chair, sofa or bed.

You will need 4mm needles, 100gr DK yarn in each of Main Shades A, B and C,50gr DK yarn in each of Contrast Shades D, E and F. For the cushion pad – fabric, stuffing, matching sewing thread. This is also a good project for using up odds and ends of yarn for a multi-colour effect.
