Four Seasons Afghan
It’s that time of year again when we can start making blankets again without overheating, so what better blanket to start off with than the Four Seasons Afghan! A striped blanket made up of the Herringbone stitch which gives it a stunning texture. This blanket has been designed to be the perfect weighted bedspread, ideal for the cooler Autumn nights!
Finished blanket measures 140cm x 160cm
10 x 10 cm = 8 rows x 9.5 stitches of Herringbone stitch
Materials needed:
- Weight #5 bulky/chunky yarn (approx. 2200m total)
10 colours are needed, approx. 220m of each colour
Sample uses two different colourways of Caron O’go Colorama (Blue Mustang and First Blush) yarn which is more on the thinner side for chunky yarn
- 6.5mm crochet hook
- Scissors, Tapestry needle
Pattern includes schematic and picture tutorials. Pattern is written in US terms.
