About the model
Formation Socks are knit in a stockinette on the toe, heel and underneath. The leg and top side of the sock is knit in mock honey comb stitch pattern.

The socks are worked bottom up. The cast on at the toe is made with Judy’s magic cast on, making it possible to work in the round without visible cast on. After the increases at the toe, the work is divided into an upper- and underside. Mock honey comb stitch pattern is worked at the upper side. Then, the sock is worked straight up to the heel, which is worked with decreases for gusset, short rows and decreases to make the heel flap. The leg of the sock is worked in mock honey comb stitch and finished with a twisted rib.

Om modellen
Formation Socks er strikket i glatstrik på hæl, tå og underside, og med det fine vævestriksmønster på oversiden af foden og på skaftet, som afsluttes med en lille ribkant. Strømperne strikkes nedefra og op. Opslaget i tåen med Judys magiske opslag gør det muligt at strikke rundt, uden at opslaget kan ses. Efter udtagninger omkring tåen inddeles arbejdet i overside og underside, og der strikkes kun i falsk bikubestrik på oversiden. Strømpen strikkes lige op til hælen, som strikkes med udtagninger til kile, vendepinde over hælens spids, samt indtagninger på hælens bagside. Skaftet strikkes i falsk bikubestrik hele vejen rundt og afsluttes med en fin ribkant.
