The Forget-Me-Not Narwhal is a beautiful creature that embraces both fauna and flora, and is part of my personal project for #the100dayproject.

The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round (a contrasting piece of yarn should be enough). There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. My final Forget-Me-Not Narwhal ended up with approximately 20cm (8in) from the fins to the head. The pattern is easy to follow if you are familiar with basic crochet skills and contains step-by-step pictures.

Materials

• 3.5mm and 3mm crochet hooks
• Worsted weight yarn in Mint, Teal, Yellow and Off-White
• Felt in Pink for the cheeks, and Blue and Yellow for the spits (optional)
• Felting needle and wool in Blue and Yellow for the spots (optional)
• 12mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Craft glue
