This cowl is an ode to the miles of trails twining their slender tendrils through the lush greenery of Forest Park. The cowl features reversible ribbed cables that encase a Stockinette “path.” The cables create a scalloped edge and when the piece is turned over, it reveals a gently flowing cable outlining a reverse Stockinette path, for a more subtle, though equally stunning effect. For those looking for a more masculine fit, the pattern contains an additional version with an added border and abbreviated length.

Forest Park is a public municipal park, in downtown Portland, and one of the country’s largest urban forest reserves. The park covers more than 5,100 acres of mostly second-growth forest with a few patches of old growth. About 70 miles of recreational trails, including the Wildwood Trail segment of the city’s 40 Mile Loop system, crisscross the park.
