Free beanie patterns do not include instructions for crown decreases. You will need to purchase the full version if you want my exact decreases or you can take this opportunity to do a little designing of your own and come up with your own decrease method.

The Forest Beanie features simple cable work that is quick and easy. You will need approximately 100g of DK weight yarn worked on 4.0mm and 8.0mm needles.

Gauge is not particularly important for this pattern but any differences in gauge could result in a change in yardage requirements.
