This pattern was inspired by the pink cat hat craze. I made a TON of them, and thought, wouldn’t this make a cute little fox? I’m a little fox obsessed lately, and thought For Fox Sake, I’m going to make it!! My 15 year old son immediately claimed the hat as his own, and I have to make myself another one!!

The pattern is written for an adult sized hat with a J hook, but you can easily make it in child, toddler or infant sizes by changing to the recommended crochet hook. This would make an ADORABLE photo prop or baby shower gift!!

I used about a 1/4 of a skein of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn for the main color, a small amount of white from my stash and less than 2 yards of black for the nose. It’s a great stash buster project.
