A fun folly for April Fools Day. A modular shawl (or scarf) of long thin triangles (blades). Each blade is knit onto the one before, offset by a number of stitches. Knit as many blades as you wish to give your desired length. The black and white edge to each blade makes the whole shawl more striking.

Instructions are given for a fingering version shawl and scarf and a DK version shawl (shown in main picture), though it is easily adapted to any yarn or gauge. Any of the versions look excellent knit with a long colour change yarn, a set(s) of mini skeins or scraps of leftover yarns.
