Folkflower is a sweater worked in one piece, top down, designed for a smooth and seamless knitting experience.

It reflects my love for sweaters with a colorwork yoke, those two-part projects I enjoy so much. You begin with the colorful section, driven by the curiosity to see the pattern unfold, before moving into a calmer sea of stocking stitch, perfect for relaxed knitting moments.

Its floral motif, simple and enjoyable to knit, spreads across the yoke like a response to landscapes still waiting to bloom, a way to bring the flowers we sometimes miss outdoors directly onto our needles.

For this version, I chose Pernilla by Filcolana, a yarn I appreciate for its simplicity and warmth, perfectly suited to this type of project and to everyday knitting pleasure.

Folkflower est un pull construit en une seule pièce, de haut en bas, pensé pour offrir un tricot fluide et sans couture.

Il s’inscrit dans mon amour pour les pulls avec un empiècement en jacquard, ces projets en deux temps que j’aime tant. On commence par la partie colorée, portée par l’envie de découvrir la suite du motif, avant de glisser vers une mer de jersey plus calme, idéale pour des moments de tricot détendus.

Son motif fleuri, tout simple à tricoter, se déploie sur l’empiècement comme une réponse aux paysages encore endormis, une façon d’amener les fleurs qui manquent parfois dehors, directement sur nos aiguilles.

Pour cette version, j’ai choisi la Pernilla de Filcolana, un fil que j’apprécie pour sa simplicité et sa chaleur, parfaitement adapté à ce type de projet et au plaisir de tricoter au quotidien.
