The “architextural” design of this hat was inspired by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This design is worked from the bottom up and can be accomplished using stranded knitting or mosaic knitting technique. Pattern is written. Any DK weight yarn would work as a substitution as long as you have sufficient yardage.

When I asked my family to help me name this hat, my daughter Danielle came up with FLW Hat. I love how the initials also stand for
“Feels Like Winter”. Hope you enjoy knitting the hat!
