With patches of dancing butterflies, this shawl will bring the carefree days of childhood summers to mind. And with its modern, stylish charm, it is a joyful addition to any outfit.

Once you have the increases and decreases memorized, most of the shawl will be very easy to knit, with the lace inserts adding interest.

Materials:

• Yarn: 1 skein of iKKe Yarns MSY Lace (60% merino, 20% silk and 20% yak) or 800m / 870y of lace weight yarn
• Needles: 3mm / US2.5 80cm / 32” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
• 4 stitch markers

The sample was knit using iKKe Yarns MSY Lace
in As the World Falls Down.

Gauge:
18 sts x 28 rows = 10cm x 10cm / 4” x 4” in garter stitch after blocking.
