I would like to introduce Flutter the butterfly. He is quite large for a butterfly but that just means there is just more of him to love.

The body and head are worked in the round in one piece, arms and legs are worked separately and are sewn on.

Supplies needed besides the yarn:
Polyester stuffing
15 mm safety eyes
Tapestry needle
6 little buttons (optional )
Small amount of White and royal blue felt (optional - eyes)
Fabric glue (optional)
4 mm hook

I used worsted weight yarn for this pattern, if you wanted to make him smaller , you would just have to use a lighter weight yarn.
