SIZES:
All of my designs are #sizeinclusive through a 62”/158cm chest.
XS (S, M, L, 1XL)(2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) to fit bust measurement of:
28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46)(48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62)”
71-76 (81-86, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 111.5-117)(122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-158)cm
Actual measurement of finished garment at bust:
32 (36, 40, 44, 48){52, 56, 60, 64}“
81.5 (91.5, 101.5, 112, 122){132, 142, 152.5, 162.5}cm
Choose a size with 2-4” 5-10cm of positive ease. If you prefer a more fitted top, choose a size with -2-0”-5-0cm of negative ease.
Suggested Needles:
US 6 – 4.0mm needles (for shoulder ribbing)
US 8 – 5.0 mm 24-40” (body) circular needles, plus preferred needle for small circumference knitting if not using magic loop
Suggested Yarn:
While I used a single ply wool silk blend yarn for my original samples, any yarn you get gauge with will work! I have compiled a Budget Yarn Options Spreadsheet sorted by price per yard to assist with financial accessibility. Use any fingering yarn that you like that works for your budget.
If you are looking for a fiber that will replicate the drape of the original sample, you will want to look for a blend that includes merino with silk, cotton, or linen. You can also use a 100% silk, linen, or cotton fiber. If you do this, I recommend sizing down one size to account for lack of memory in the fiber.
