Fluff Nugget
After much reflection, I have decided to retire the pay-what-works model for the time being. The truth being that it didn’t work for me. I explained this in an instagram post which you can find here. Knitting patterns are extremely undervalued and as a designer who isn’t part of the 1% earning most of the money, my business is simply unsustainable without charging what I deserve for my work which is focused on size inclusivity and a fit that is proportionally correct across the large size range. If you believe in my work and would like to receive the pattern at a reduced price while enjoying other benefits, please consider joining my Patreon. If you would like to knit one of my patterns but are experiencing extreme financial hardship - feel free to e-mail me at: sopranoknits@gmail.com and we will find a solution.
Please note for those located in Europe and certain other countries that VAT is applied at checkout.
Fluff Nugget is a cropped, dropped sleeve cardigan in one color brioche - individually designed for 10 sizes so that each size has its own shaping to accommodate unique body measurements. The pattern is intended to have at least 15 cm // 6 in. of positive ease but feel free to choose a size with more (check out testers versions for an idea of how this looks. There are instructions in the pattern to adjust the lengths of the different sections and the upper arm circumference if desired. It is knit from the bottom-up in a combination of flat and in-the-round knitting. It features a relaxed fit with a mock v-neck that creates a slight romantic high-low effect. The arms include some volume which can either be under or over exaggerated by lengthening or shortening the amount knit on the arms. The pattern includes extensive notes on sizing, gauge, and yarn substitution and features custom video tutorials to help you with german short rows in brioche and a 3-needle bind off.
