Crochet skills needed:
Bobble: similar to working 4 treble crochet together in one stitch: Yarn over, insert hook into stitch or space, yarn over, draw up a loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over, draw through 2 loops (2 loops remain on hook), yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from until you have 5 loops on hook, yarn over, draw through all loops on hook. At this point I like to pull down on the stitch, pulling the yarn tightly so that the bobble really pops out away from me. We are working from the backside of the piece so the bobble should pop away from you.
Chain(s): ch(s): Yarn over, pull through loop on the hook.
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Skip (sk)
Stitch(es) (st(s))
Space(s) (sp(s))
Slip Stitch(s): ss(s): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through stitch and loop on hook.
Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
