Flower Dancers
Flower Dancers is a rectangular wrap knitted on the bias, which means that it is increased and decreased by one stitch every right side row. There are large sections of garter stitch, with mosaic stitch patterns to keep it interesting. An adventurous beginner will find the slipped stitches easy to memorize, but will keep seasoned knitters interested.
Follow the smallest dancers as they flit from bloom to bloom across fields and meadows doing one of nature’s most beautiful ballets. Imagine joining them (and dancing) to the ancient music they follow, perhaps even the call of Terpsichore, the Greek Muse of dancing and choral music. Spread your shawl like wings and feel the gentle breeze lift and carry you along as you dance among the flowers.
