The Floret Top is worked from the bottom up. The lower body is first worked in the round featuring a lace flower motif. The front and back are then worked separately, followed by the straps and finishing with edging along the neckline and armholes.

The pattern comes in English language with US crochet terms. It contains full row-by-row written instructions with stitch counts, step-by-step pictures and video tutorials. The pattern also includes crochet charts kindly created by Masako Kawahara.

Construction Tips

Fully Adjustable: This design is easily customizable. You can adjust the width by working additional flower motifs into the first row of the lower body and adjust the length by adding more rounds to the lower body section.

Customizable Yoke: You can tailor the shape of the front and back yoke to your preference:
• As written: V-neck front with a straight back.
• V-back option: Repeat the front instructions for the back to create a matching V-shape.
• Straight option: Work both the front and back with a straight neckline.
