Florentine

Vielen Dank an meine tollen Strickerinnen.
“Florentine” shawl knits up quickly. It’s not too large, well suited to complement blouses or sweaters, and looks sophisticated, especially when made from a glossy yarn as shown.
The pictured sample was knit from a total of 350 g [12.4 oz] LAMANA Cosma (60% cotton/40% modal), yardage 100 m/50g [110 yds/1.75 oz], divided into
− 250 g [8.8 oz] Altrosa (dusty pink, Main Color for the main part)
− 50 g [1.75 oz] Seidengrau (silk grey, for the edging)
− 50 g [1.75 oz] Lindgrün (sage green, for the edging)
Its easy-to-knit mesh pattern guarantees success!
You need to know: knit and purl stitches, passed-over decreases, increases, picking up stitches from the selvedge.

As with all of my patterns, this pattern has been tech edited, test knitted and professionally translated.
I wish you lots of fun with your “Florentine ” shawl – while you knit it and when you wear it.
I’m very curious how your shawl will turn out. If you want to, I would be glad to receive a photo of your finished shawl to show on my website www.oceanandyarn.de. This way, others may enjoy, too, what you’ve created. Of course I will only mention what you have allowed me to publish, such as first name/town. It’s up to you how much you want to divulge.
