Note: To make this top wider across the shoulders (to fit larger sizes), you can add an edging to each square. Working at the same gauge, a dc edging will add 1” to each square (or 4” total), and a hdc will add .75” to each square (3” total, the equivalent of another square). For that extra round, just work a hdc or dc in each chain, dc, and sc of Round 3, but work (2 dc/hdc, ch 2/ 2 dc/hdc) in each corner ch-2 sp.

You’ll need to fudge the straps a little bit but it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
