Flora Socks
Socks may be my favorite project to make: they make me happy, I can finish them within a short(ish) time frame, and they virtually always fit right (don’t ask me about my first pairs, not big enough to put my foot through them!).
I sometimes must remind myself there are other projects and designs waiting for me to work on, and that I should pace how much time I spend knitting socks… What can I say, they truly are comfort knitting, aren’t they?
The other thing I really love about knitting socks is that they allow me to work with very special yarn: unique skeins that may be too small for other projects, but definitely big enough to wrap around my two happy feet.
The yarn I used has a lot of beautiful shades blended in a balanced mix of greens, gold and pinks, which inspired the name of this design: Flora.
