Flora
Flora was inspired by an old potholder pattern that can be found at: http://web.archive.org/web/20071227052119/http://www.ange...
Flora was originally created as a part of a Flower Faerie costume for one of my daughters. Many photos where snapped during its creation. The result is a lovely written pattern accompanied by many pictures to help you along! Flora can be made to the length of your choice, just keep in mind that this skirt tends to grow, so don’t make it too long. Instructions for an optional leaf and vine trim for the hem is included. At the end of this pattern you will find some line drawings you can use to help plan out colors. There are even a few hem variation ideas listed at the end of this pattern to help you make Flora fit your personality. The fun floral skirt pictured in this pattern was made with Bernat Softee Baby in various colors, but you can use any DK weight yarn of your choice.
