Flop is one of my earliest monsters. He earned his name while participating in an art show. Sitting on a shelf in the gallery, he had the terrible habit of flopping over onto his side everytime someone walked past. After some quick corrective surgery on his foot placement, Flop finally managed to sit upright and stable, but his affectionate nickname remained. When Jamie, a fellow studio-mate, agreed to trade her photography skills in return for a piece of my work, she eagerly chose to take him home with her.
