The Floating Cables Wrap features reversible columns of cables. This elegant accessory can be wrapped cosily around the neck or opened out and draped around the shoulders, showing off the double-sided cable pattern over its full length.

The centre of the wrap is worked first, using the reversible garter stitch and double-sided cable pattern. After the centre section is completed, the outer wrap sections are picked up one at a time along the side edges. A similar reversible stitch pattern is used with the addition of eyelets on either side of each cable. These long lines of eyelets create the floating cables. The double sided cable pattern is straightforward to follow as the same cable stitches (C4B) are worked on both sides of the knitting on consecutive rows.
