Why Floater? Well, the pattern repeat uses a variation of “float stitches” to create the fabric. Also, there is an awesome rock band from Portland, Oregon named Floater. I live in Portland and am happy to use fellow PDX-ers as my inspiration in naming the cowl. Rock On!
